Things That Make You Smile – The Christmas Edition…

December 23, 2015

Hello all my Fabulous Friends!

I am sorry I am writing a little bit less frequently this week, however I am on a much deserved Christmas vacation from work.  Vacation from work means no express bus, and as you know, that is where I usually do most of my writing.

I have been making the most of my week off. I have been watching movies with my sons, preparing my home for hosting our annual Christmas Eve family gathering, and wrapping final presents, in that order.  Spending this time with my boys is most important. They make me smile. Everything else falls in line behind them.

So, now that the stockings are hung by the foyer stairs, the food prep is complete (I cater 70% of the meal, no judgment) and the gifts are wrapped, I am ready to settle into my chaise lounge and finish off some Sauvignon Blanc.

My Sauvignon Blanc …

It’s time to share the adorable things that are making me smile this week.

First off is a new video from Sean Hayes and Scott Icenogle!  Their holiday video is awesome rush – lip synched to Barbra Streisand’s classic rendition of “Jingle Bells.”  Enjoy!!

Sean and Scott are so much fun. I couldn’t wait for this video to come out. This is my Star Wars. Lol.

Second, Baby Elf on the Shelf!!

So Much Cuter Than That Creepy Doll

That Dad Blog features this adorable little guy in some hilarious “Elf On The Shelf” scenarios!  My favorite is his day 12 selfie with an American Girl doll!

He’s just too adorable.  His father is one talented photographer and artist to put these together.

Last but not least, the boys and I know it’s not Christmas without Will Ferrell and “Elf!”

The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is to sing loud for all to hear.   I adore Elf. We watch it Christmas Eve when all the kids are here.  It’s a well loved part of our holiday tradition. The sounds of laughter warm up the entire house.

I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas!  May Santa keep you off the naughty list!!  XO!
