Time for another edition of Things That Make Us Smile!
However, this week I want to deviate and celebrate Grouches, beginning with the incomparable Groucho Marx.
His name may be synonymous with a negative emotion, however he gave us one of my favorite quotes on happiness and the power of positive thinking:

Groucho Marx and his famous Marx Brothers were pioneers of deadpan comedy, starring in Vaudeville, Broadway and movies until 1949. True classics:

Onto my second grouch. How anyone resist this fuzzy, green face? His name may be Oscar the Grouch, but is he really grouchy?
Oscar has been the inspiration for some adorable baby photos and toddler Halloween costumes:
Let’s hope he isn’t having grouchy dreams
Trick or Treat gets extra smile-worthy when you see a little tot dressed up like Oscar.
Or could dressing them up as grouches as babies mean they will grow into grouchy adults?
Maybe they need a hug?
A grouchy hug is better than no hug at all.
